Well, balljoints out. Replaced lower balljoints tonight.
I need to get the car inspected before the end of the month, but I’m still waiting on a brake hose to show up. I’ve been fixing and tuning things - mostly the brakes - to make sure it will pass. Tightened the parking brake cables, adjusted the rear drums, put new springs in the rear drums, re-hooked the limiting straps, replaced lower ball joints, got new tires.
I still have loads of other issues to take care of, but the checklist stuff is at least taken care of.
